Ms. Elizabeth
Executive Director In 2014, Elizabeth founded our school along with our campus director, Ms. McKenna, with the goal of creating an educational environment focused on children's growth and development as opposed to testing standards. Ms. Elizabeth has been involved in Montessori education since she was a Montessori student in Houston, Texas. She has two children who attend Montessori Academy of Owasso. Elizabeth is a certified elementary teacher and holds a Master's Degree in Montessori Leadership. She is a Love and Logic parenting coach and is a certified Heartwise Parenting Consultant. She currently is completing an Emotional Intelligence coaching certificate. Elizabeth is active in the community and is a recent graduate of Leadership Owasso through the Chamber of Commerce. |

Ms. McKenna
Campus Director Ms. Mckenna has been with our school since we opened the doors in 2014. She greets you each morning in the front office, cares for boo-boos, keeps us organized, and so much more! She moved to Oklahoma from California, where she earned her degree in Early Childhood Education. She had her Montessori training at Montessori World Educational Institute in San Luis Obispo, CA. Before helping Ms. Elizabeth found our school, she worked for 4 years at the Children's House Montessori in Tulare, CA. We are excited that she added to our Montessori family with a new baby in February! |

Ms. Bonnitta
Upper Elementary Teacher Ms. Bonnitta joined our faculty in 2017 after 20 years as a teacher in both public and private schools. She is a certified teacher and holds a Master's Degree in Human Relations and a Master's Degree in Curriculum Development. She holds her Montessori Upper Elementary Diploma. Ms. Bonnitta has a passion for science and annually attends the NASA Space Explorers Educators Conference. She has been granted multiple free resources for her classroom by the Civil Air Patrol via their aerospace education program. |

Ms. Becky
Primary Class Lead Teacher Ms. Becky joined our faculty in 2015 after many years in childcare. She has her Child Development Associates Degree. Ms. Becky is a wonderful assistant who connects well with the children and has a passion for getting to know each child individually. Ms. Becky has four children and three grandchildren of her own. In her free time, she loves to play with her dog, Honey Bee. She also loves to do Zumba and read novels. . |

Pre-Primary II Lead Teacher Ms. Joni has been with our school since we opened our doors. She is a dedicated teacher who loves working with some of our youngest students. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Missouri State University and holds her Montessori Diploma for Infant & Toddler ages. Before joining our team, Ms. Joni taught special education at Rolla Cerebral Palsy School for 3 years and was a teacher and administrator at Villa Montessori school for 27 years. |
