Please note that these levels are based on ability level, not necessarily your child's grade level so please choose the level that is appropriate for your child to be challenged, but not to the point of frustration. Your child may work at different levels in language and math. Please let us know if you have any questions.

- September 22 Update:
- Kindergarten Level: Blending two and three letter words with short vowels /o/ and /u/.
- 1st Grade Level: Continue with blends, consonant digraphs-sh, ch, wh. Grammar: nouns, verbs
- 2nd & 3rd Grade Level: Soft & Hard “c” and “g”. (Gentle, Cindy)
- 3rd Grade Level Morphology: prefix <un>, suffix <ing>, continue -tion, -sion
- 2nd & 3rd Grade Level Grammar: Expanding sentences with quality adjectives. Introducing pronouns and articles. Introducing adverbs
- Kindergarten Level: Blending two and three letter words with short vowels /a/ and /i/
- 1st Grade Level: Consonant blends with r, s, and l (Really Stuck Letters) Grammar: nouns
- 2nd Grade Level: Cat/Kite spelling rule. Learning when to use a c or k when spelling the/k/ sound. (VIDEO)
- 3rd Grade Level: morphology: -tion Latin suffix.
- 2nd & 3rd Grade Grammar: Expanding sentences with quality adjectives. Introducing pronouns and articles.
- September 1 Update:
- Lower Elementary Kindergarten Level: Short Vowel Sounds /o/ and /e/, Letter Identification, Letter formation
- Lower Elementary First Grade Level: Blending VC (vowel/consonant) and CVC (consonant/vowel/consonant) words with combined short vowels /a/, /i/
- Upper Elementary: Adjectives, Decoding multisyllabic words, cursive handwriting
- August 25 Update:
- Kindergarten: short vowel sound of /a/. Introduced m, t, s, p, by focusing on their phonemes (the sounds they make).
- 1st grade: Review of all short vowel sounds. (a spells /a/) Practice blending 2 & 3 letter words with a short vowel. (at, sat, tap, map, etc)
- 2nd grade: open/closed syllables in one syllable words. Review nouns & verbs. (VIDEO)
- 3rd grade: review open/closed syllables in one syllable words. Introduced “Rabbit words” VCCV syllable division. Review parts of speech: nouns, verbs, adjectives. (VIDEO)

- Kindergarten Level: Ordinal Numbers through 5 (1st, 2nd, etc)
- 1st Grade Level: Turn Words into an Addition Sentence (basic word problems)

- 3rd Grade Level: Multiplication with 2s & 3s times tables and equal groups
- September 15 Update:
- Kindergarten Level: Addition to 5
- 1st Grade Level: Comparing numbers up to 20 using the greater than/less than symbols
