Curriculum
Our school follows an integrated curriculum based on Montessori philosophy and methods combined with state standards.
We encourage every family to choose the homeschool curriculum that best suits their child. If your family has not decided on a homeschool curriculum, we recommend Timberdoodle curriculum kits. These are child-led and hands-on, two ideas that align well with the Montessori philosophy. |
We believe in these
4 Stages of Learning The Search for Information Begin with a topic of interest, a question about the past, or a theory about the future. The Joy of Discovery The emotion of happiness when achieving a goal helps create strong mental pathways for information. Sharing the Discovery Explaining to others helps organize new information into meaningful concepts. Creating Something New Designing, inventing, writing, or performing about our new information requires a complete understanding of the concepts. |
